If we have sent you an update disk, follow the instructions below. If you have downloaded the update from our website, please use update instructions at the bottom of this page, listed under "Update Downloaded From Our Website Instructions".
- Close Digital Docs before running update, if program is open.
- Insert Disk 1 into floppy drive or CD into CDROM drive.
- Click the Start button and choose Run. Type A:\setup.exe in the Open field and click OK. If you are using a CDROM the program should start automatically. If it does not, use the above procedure, and substitute your CDROM drive letter for “A”.
- Follow the Install Shield on-screen instructions, and do not make changes to any of the default directories.
- Insert Disks as requested by on screen instructions then click ‘OK’. You will not be prompted to insert disks if running from a CDROM.
- Once installation of the update is complete, click ‘Yes’ to launch the program file if you wish to run the update now then click ‘Finish’. If you do not wish to run the update now you may click on the Digital Docs Update icon on your desktop to run it later. However, it is advised that you complete the process.
- Click the motorcycle to start the update.
- When the update has finished running, delete the “Digital Docs Update” Icon on your Desktop.
- You may now run Digital Docs.
Update Downloaded From Our Website Instructions
- Find the downloaded file on your computer and double-click it.
- You will be prompted to unzip the installation files, and the directory has been selected for you. Click "Unzip".
- After the files have been unzipped successfully, simply click "OK" and Install Shield installer will start automatically.
- Follow the Install Shield on-screen instructions and do not make changes to any of the default directories.
- Once installation of the update is complete, click ‘Yes’ to launch the program file if you wish to run the update now then click ‘Finish’. If you do not wish to run the update now you may click on the Digital Docs Update icon on your desktop to run it later. However, it is advised that you complete the process.
